About Us

Hi, we are Patrick and Shemika Herrington, founders of HisWife HerHusband Coaching LLC, which helps couples go from surviving to thriving by building and sustaining their marriage from a Biblical perspective. We have been helping couples for over a decade to build their marriage on solid biblical principles that will carry them through the many challenges and changes they will face in life as a married couple.

We have been married for nearly three decades and currently reside in Memphis, TN. We are the parents of five children, 3 daughters and 2 sons. We successfully maintained our marriage through erroneous societal constructs and economic hardships often projected onto large families. We are extremely grateful and honored to experience the promises of God in our lives and even more eager to help other couples by sharing the skills, strategies, structures, and systems that we have implemented in our lives to help others experience the same in their marriage.

We are certified Prepare and Enrich marriage coaches, certified facilitators of the Prep8 relationship and marriage curriculum, and certified Mental Health/Life Coaches with AACC and a member of ICCA. We provide one-on-one coaching services to clients. We are hosts of the HisWife HerHusband podcast, which can be heard on Spotify, Apple Podcast, and iHeart Radio. We are YouTube marriage content creators who have faithfully shared content on how to build and sustain marriages. Our most popular content creation to date is “Unequally Yoked”, where we share how we overcame being spiritually unbalanced and disconnected through faithfulness to the Word of God and diligence in prayer. In addition, we have been featured guests on thriving podcasts, UnLearnt and On My Heart. We have been guest panelists at marriage events.
